I've been living up here in Minnesota for almost a year now, by way of Albuquerque, NM (26 years in New Mexico.) We've survived our first winter and are gearing up for another. The biggest woodworking adjustments have been the humidity (Rust!
We never saw rust in Albuquerque!) and mobilizing the shop for warm weather woodworking and winter woodworking. Since I park the truck inside during the winter, I have to collapse down to a one garage stall shop when the mercury drops.
My job and family keep me pretty busy, so over the past few years I've been an on-again/off-again woodworker. I'm really hoping to change that here in the near future.
I also recently started my first blog, on...can you guess? Woodworking! It's really focused on my learnings and my re-energizing about the craft.
Second Wind Workshop
Looking forward to getting to know folks!
