Post Howdy from Iowa

Hello all: looks like an exciting forum. Self employed (waste water ) and gettin ready to slow down a little and enjoy some wood working. Spent many years working as a Mechanic, spent a lot of weekends and nights doing remodeling and maintenance of rental property. Worked on a framing crew for a couple years for a Custom builder. All that was in Colorado. Came home to Iowa 30 years ago and bought an 80 acre (mini farm), been planting trees ever since. 3 years ago bought a Timber King saw mill and been collecting logs for a retirement hobby. A friend on another wood working forum suggested I check this one out .

I'm smack in the middle of both of you, Boxerman, and Greekhawk. I live in Jesup. Imagine that.

Farragut: southwest corner of the state

Nothing better in the morning than the smell of hot coffee and saw dust!

Welcome to the forum. My wife grew up on a farm outside of Clarinda and we'll actually be up there this weekend for a visit. Small world, huh.
