Hillbilly hello!

Hello from eastern KY peoples. I have been playing in my wannabe woodshop and collecting tools for about 2 years or so now and really enjoy it. I like to make more rustic things and really enjoy working with pine, the more knots the better. I have toyed with a few other species of wood and found them easier then pine but I don't really like their look as good.
My only other hobby is skydiving and I have been at it since 2003, have logged over 200 jumps. The problem is I got married 3 years ago and am not "allowed" to go much anymore....lol.
I have been reading posts on this site for about a week now and have found a good source for imformation and inspiration not to mention how nice everyone is. I am a mechanic for CSX transportation, I take care of the track maintenance equipment. Started as a locomotive mechanic 4 years ago though.

Thanks Y'all
Brad
