New to the forum and woodworking even though I have a 30 year background in aircraft sheet metal repair, modification and quality control, so in a sense they go pretty much hand in hand as far as layout and measurement goes. I was also a jig and tooling inspector on the space shuttle for a couple of years.
Actually my main interest is in small projects due to my limited space so I have pretty much limited myself to boxes, small clocks and trying my hand at sign making in the near future. I have 4 routers and each has a specific purpose, such as router table, hand held plunge and stationary combo, my sign making pantograph and a trim router that is a jack of all trades.
I am presently working on a new router table with a fence that is modeled after a Pat Warner design that was published in a woodworking mag a few years ago with some of my own modifications that I hope will work as I want when finished.
After all of that I am sure I will have to ask a question from time to time that I can't get my brain wrapped around.
