Hi there!

Hi there! I'm Snugitup, and in the real world I'm a web geek. I play with wood because it keeps me connected to something real, it reminds me of what real craftsmanship is, and mostly because I like the smell of fresh cut wood. Seriously, that stuff is addictive, I may need to join a 12 step program. That would mean I have to admit it's a problem, though, and I just don't think I can do that.

I'm from Utah, learned everything I know (for better or worse) from my Dad, who still to this day insists on making as much as he can instead of buying it.

He taught me about the greatest effort in the world!

I know what ya mean on the smells,haha............took a 1/2 pickup load of wood scraps down to "the pile" behind shop yesterday. The fresh cut smell filled the area, lots of Walnut,Cherry, some exotics and a BUNCH of secondary woods.......it was pretty neat.Welcome,BW

Those who say it cannot be done shouldn't interrupt the people doing it.

Hoo....that sounds like a woodworker's Thanksgiving! Don't you wish you could save moments like that for when you're having a bad day?
