Welcome to the madhouse.

Lots to learn and lots of people to help you.

All you need to do is ask.

Any special interest?

nice to be here ty
im mostly interested right now are exterior woodworking details
i recently did the exterior of an old house using a PVC material
and im starting to think wood cant be beat as far as it being more stable in the long dimension.
i had a lot of problems with joints opening up considerably with the long lenghts.im sure i can learn a lot here about tools and techniques that i can use for either material
thanks again tom

Welcome to the forum Tom.
Sometimes the modern miracle products aren't all they're cracked up to be. I always look at new things with a grain of salt. Sometimes they work well, other times they are a disaster. Problem is the problems don't usually show up for a few years, after a bunch of the stuff has been installed. Next thing you know there is a class action lawsuit going. Many times the old tried and true is best in the long run. Enjoy the site,
Mike Hawkins
