I've just started. Now I'm working on my first slab coffee table. I have absolutely*no professional experience. But actually I've made a few DIY projects like spice rack, bookcase and coat rack. But my passion are tables.*

As I've answered*for previous message*I like slab tables. So I plan to work in this way. Maybe someday I'll go to some woodworkers school. There are a lot of interesting one in the USA and Canada. I have not many tools.*I would say that I have no basic machine tools like*jointer and planer or table saw. But Ive already bought something. Almost everything*is Makita.*

The completed projects you have shown us look good Christina. That is a nice slab of wood on the floor of your workshop. Is that to be a table top in the future?

Yes, it will be a coffee table. Now I'm learning all about epoxy
At first I thought about colorless, but now I realise that it is impossible to properly clean the edge of something white.

I found this slab in an antique store, so it has been a little bit restored, but it was not good.

So now I'm thinking about blacke epoxy

p.s. and sorry for my English) my native language is Russian.
