Hi to all from Texas...

I just became a member of this forum and would just like to say Hi. I am from the Dallas, Texas area. I have been an avid woodworker for about 35 years. My enjoyment is making cabinets, cases, and furniture. I've just recently completed building an entire room of baby furniture for my son and daughter-in-laws new baby. I have recently retired and spend many hours in my large garage/shop. I make furniture for my family members and also custom furniture for friends and neighbors. I am sure I will learn some beneficial tricks and ideas from all of you woodworkers on this site.

Welcome Ron, from just up the highway a piece. How you liking this weather today? Yuck. Still, I'm fixin to have to go out there for the second time in two weeks and cover the lettuce and whatever else she has planted that isn't freeze-proof.

We're just a few miles south of the river, and although we're just an hour.5 or so north of you, the winter weather here is usually a little more wintry. I'm just whining because my shop isn't heated and I have to go out there and make a showing too.

Glad you found us. We can always use another good 'ol boy.

Ron

I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not........under your profile section, there is a place to post photos and group them in albums. The instructions will get you through it pretty easily. With your experience, I'm sure there will be an equal exchange of knowledge.
Looking forward to seing some of your stuff.
