Hey all

Hey everyone. I am Allan. Last night I ended up impulse buying a new Dremel 8200 12v kit from my local candy store, Home Depot. I have and older cordered one, but I justified the purchase as, "Well, this would come in handy for out side" you know, sharpening the lawn mower blade, shovels and since I was thinking of getting a Ryobi speed saw, the only one they had was open I figured the dremel would work for that as well as other stuff. So there you go, I justified the new Dremel.

Well, all was good until I got home and thought, "What do I do with this thing?" Which caused me to google, go to dremels web, site, DIY chatroomand then clicking in here. A bit of lurking I found some wonderfully crafted goodies here so I figured I would join.

This also prompted me a few ideas that would allow me to use some of the tools I got a while back. So, my first project is, refinish and touch up an old jewelry box :)

Not much, but its something to do. Also I have several other ideas from making boxes to building a cheapo wood inside screen door to help airflow in my house.

So, I guess on to find more ideas and solutions here :)

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully, you will find what you need here. Post some pictures.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"
