Hello from Western NC

Just thought I would pop in and say hey. The site looks great. It appears that there is a great group of folks here. I hope to learn a ton.

Fill your heart with compassion, seek the jewel in every soul, share a word of kindness, and remember; the people's what it's about.

We have an introduction section where you can say a few words about yourself. If you fill out your profile in your "User Control Panel", you can list any hobbies, experience or other facts. You can also list your general geographical location which would be a help in answering some questions.

Welcome to the forum. Tell us more ... what kind of woodworking do you do?

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

I have been putting together a basement shop over the past year and a half. I bought a new house and it has a full basement and I finally had the room for a nice wood working area. I have a porter cable TS, a nice big work bench, many hand tools. I am needing a drill press, planner, joiner, and band saw. Other than that, I am pretty well set up. Been finding some good sources for wood. I have been doing some smaller projects recently. Shelves and boxes and the such. My wife is wanting a new bed for next Christmas, so that is my goal to work towards. I hope to learn a lot and maybe I can help some that are newer than I. Thanks all.
