Hello From Upstate NY

Hi, my name is Andrew, I'm 30, I've been into woodwork, ie trying to build general things around the house, since my wife and I bought our home 5 years ago. I just thought I'd stop by and try to learn a thing or two from all the seasoned vets. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Where in upstate? I'm between Syracuse and Binghamton.

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

Ha...I've got in-laws in Queensbury, Hudson Falls, and Glens Falls. I'm up there a few times a year.

Every time we go to Rochester, we swing by Woodcraft. After browsing for a while, the wife tells me I can get whatever I want...

...at Krispy Kreme :)

I think Krispy Kreme is gone, but Bill Gray's is just down the road and is equally fattening!

I went to school at Oswego and not only did they get the lake effect snow, they also had winds whipping off the lake at 60-70mph. I do not miss that one bit. You can keep your obscene weather out there. This winter has been good so far though, knock on wood.

Welcome to the forum.

You should add your location to your profile for others to see. It makes it easier when answering questions since some answers will change depending on location.
