Hello from Tucson az

My name is Dave Allard ( 520handyman ) and reside in Tucson az. a transplant from N.H some 30 years ago. I am retired after over 30 years with Learjet ( Bombardier ) here. My Grand Dad and my Dad were both wood workers as a hobby and I have followed suit in my retirement years. I have a small but complete work shop that I enjoy working on small projects for the house, wife and friends.
Look forward to your advise as I am sure I will need it as I stumble thru various projects. My skill level is in the middle but getting better as I advance. Last project ( the biggest ) was a new dresser for my wife.
Thanks,
Dave

Welcome Dave.
Nice having you aboard.
That's cool that your Dad and Grandad were both woodworkers.
I'll bet the tools have come a long ways since grandpa's days.
Were they in NH too?

Have fun here.
These guys are really talented folks....I've learned a lot from them......

Learning more about tools everyday

Thanks for the welcome. Altho I am not into wood carving I can image the eagle took a lot of
time. Great job. Would love to have that hanging over my fire place mantel

Thanks for the welcome. Lived in N.H. until I move to Az. in 1979.
Don't miss the cold and snow. Here I can play in it but don't have to live in it, LOL

I am in between projects right now, however have photos of my resent builds which i
will post on my alblum once I figure out how to do it. HELP A friend gave me 3 Mesquite
slabs that I am working on. Don't know now what I will use them for, but the wood is
great. Maybe something nice for the wife.
