I started woodworking on and off about 10 years ago because we needed stuff for the kids rooms and not much money,The 1st stuff I made looked like krap,ha ha I geuss I am starting to get better .anyway found the forum like what i see so far.

Welcome, Ducktape. I like your story. I also got started in woodworking for the same reason about 10 years ago. I was shoping for a TV cabinet and looking at crappy cabinets and price tags in an unfinished furniture store and remember telling the wife, "heck, I can build a piece of crap!" And, it grew from there.

Welcome, I think you'll like the forum. There's a lotta nice guys (and gals) here,,,,,,,,, and many of them are pretty good woodworkers. Don't forget to post some pics of your projects - that's how I get my inspiration.

That's funny Geo. My girlfriend used to laugh at me because I was always saying "hell, I can build that". Glad to say she's not laughing anymore.
