Hello From Sunny San Diego

Just wanted to say hello and thank you for letting me join in on your Woodworking forum. I'm retired Navy but still working in the real world.
I've been cutting wood for about 40 years, but I'm still not as good as I'd like. I made my best stuff early on with just a radial arm a drill press and alot of sandpaper. Now I've got all the tools I'll ever need but the quality doesn't seem what it was.
When I was young I had the time but no money. Now that I'm old it's the other way around.
I guess the only plus is that it was 82* here today and when I go home I'll be cutting wood with the garage door open!
