Hello from Southern California

Hi All,

My name is Rich. I'm not much of a woodworker, more of a small project guy. Anyway I joined up to do some research for a project I am working on, (camp box) and hopefully get some ideas for some future projects.

Glad I was able to find this site and look forward to learning and hopefully contributing.

Welcome! What do you consider a "camp box"? Campaign chest?

Thanks for the welcome...

MuseumWood - The camp box, I am looking to build to is probably more like an updated chuck box similar to what is being offered on this site - http://www.drifta.com.au/index.php except I have a couple of different ideas I want to implement...at this point I am still in the planning stages, I am not sure how realistic my concept idea is.

Welcome Rich. I'll have to dig out my camera and take a picture of the chuck box I made when my son and I were involved with scouting. Didn't turn out too bad and may give you an idea or two.
