Hello from south-east Asia

Hello everybody, I am a German knife maker and since 13 years I live in Thailand.9 years in the lower north near Burmese border, since 4 years I live now in the south, near Malaysia border.
The life in the tropics brought me to the fascination of tropical hardwoods and iron woods and, of course: the jungle.
I am looking forward to exchange experiences, information and education.
see You around.
Jeremiah

Welcome, I look forward to seeing some unusual wood pictures.

If you like wood, look into the 'forestry and milling' section here---we have some good wood cutters .

Good morning Jeremiah. A very nice introduction. You are living in an interesting part of the world. My knowledge of Thialand is just a few days in Bangkok.

Welcome!

It's always interesting to me to see how it's done in other countries. Sometimes the challenges that are overcome to do certain jobs amazes me with the creativity!

Hi Dan, Your friendly welcome is much appreciated! The biggest challenge working in Thailand is the lacking of infra structure and the lacking of the whole paradise of tools, services and materials in Germany.I had to learn how to improvise and that made me make different work, better work.

see You around
