Hello from SC

Hello, my name is Burt.

I'm retired Air Force and have been running a small cabinet shop since 1991. I'm at that point where I would call my self semi-retired.

I've been enjoying wood working since the mid 70's.

In recent years, I've had some medical challenges and as a result of that began looking for an easier way to do woodworking. Along the way, I ran into Dino and the Eurekazone system. I've been fortunate enough to be involved in the development of the EZ rail system and I am a strong advocate of the rail systems. I consider it preferable to a table saw and think it will be the wave of the future.

I find woodworking to be relaxing and I love being able to design a piece of furniture I want and then build it. Most of the furniture in my home is things I have made.

Enjoy!

Burt

Welcome to the forum. Florence / Darlington here. Spent a lot of time in Sumter in the past. Ran some restaurants over there. Nice town.

Sold cabinets and kitchen design most recently. Company I worked for finally shut down due to the economy.

Again, welcome. A lot of good information and some real characters here. Enjoy

Welcome from Texas

Welcome Burt. I too am retired Air Force but semi-retired doesn't fit my current work schedule.

You live in a beautiful part of the country. I am envious.

If I recall correctly, that River Walk in San Antonio is a beautiful place.

Semi retired is necessary to match my health - not my personal desires.

Thanks Sawduster. I've tried to learn my limitations and work as close to them as I can.
