Hello From Rory

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am from South Carolina and have been working with wood for at least 35 years. I specialize in the restoration of antiques. I believe that by restoring the old, rather than buying new things, that are mostly made overseas, that we have the ability to stimulate the american economy and help save the planet. I also believe that craftsmanship is important. Please visit my blog for more information.

Welcome from Texas !!!

Welcome to the forum Rory.
Love your work. Gave me a couple of ideas.
I love working on old furniture myself. I will have to get new pics and post them.

Thanks Texas,

Be sure to check back from time to time. I have plans on posting some more great stuff. I have also added a bookstore to the blog with titles dedicated to woodworking and people who work with their hands. Take care.
