Hello from Oklahoma

Hello everyone, my name is Matthew, and I have a wood working addiction. Unfortunately, 3 kids under the age of 5 have hampered my efforts as of late.

I have always been very handy around the house and spent the first 6 months of my post college life doing housing construction, mostly the framing side.

5 years ago, I ventured into the fine woodworking realm and built a cradle and high chair for our beginning family. This isn't the best picture, but is the only one I currently have available.

Hello from Oklahoma-img2006-10-08_005.jpg

I am hoping to get back to some work in the next month or so, building a book case for toys and books, and also attempting a dining room table.

The forum has been a great resource for these projects.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing your work. We like pictures around here, so starting your intro with a photo means that you'll fit right in.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

Welcome from Oklahoma

Welcome, Matthew. Good job on the high chair. With three little ones under age five you have your hands full and probably not much time to sawdust. Keep up the good work. If you're ever in the Tulsa area, stop by and we'll make some sawdust.
