Hello From Oklahoma

New to the blog. Been reading some good stuff on here. Thanks to all for your great posts...

Norm got me into this about 5 years ago. But I traveled alot for work and couldn't do much. Now I have more time and a dedicated shop area, so here I go....

Working my way up to making my own dining set someday. Buying and saving up all the best cherry I can find. So far my skill level is "paint grade." But I just got a Oneway Multigauge for Christmas, so maybe I'm about to get better!

Blessings

Welcome. What part of Oklahoma you from? I make sawdust in NE Oklahoma. The nice thing about woodworking in Oklahoma is I clean my shop with a leaf blower and all the sawdust goes to Kansas (well,,,,, it would go to Texas this week if I could keep the doors and windows open long enough to clean it).

From Cashion, just N of OKC on an acreage. You are fortunate to have an association up there in Green Country. It would be nice if we had a WW association down here.

Regards

We have a woodworking association in Green Country? I'm just an ignorant wood hack. I didn't know there was an organized association here.
