Hello from the NW

Just signed up today. I am a stay at home Dad these days and I tell you what, Moms were waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy under appreciated when it came to keeping the home. I have 3 little ones 5,4 and 1. I am also in the over 50 club so my gray hair is coming a lot faster these days. I love to build furniture and do projects around the house when I am not changing something that smells real bad or drying some tears. One thing I do have to say is that through all the complaining that I do to my wife I have the most rewarding part. I also try to sell a few tools online to make a few extra bucks and to get new tools for myself (never have enough you know)! I am going to make a dresser for me and my wife so I will be looking and asking for advice when I need it. My shop at the moment is crammed into the third bay of our garage and with a few more improvements it will be efficient for what I do. Got to go do that smelly part now so hope to talk to you all more. I also like all the smileys here.

Welcome to the forum
It sounds like you have your hands full with 3 little ones.
With the those 3 kids under foot you may or may not get that dresser built.

When my two were little (they were ten days shy of one year apart), I got to change my share of diapers. Not a bad job, it does keep one in touch with the important things. I also gave them most of their baths (I think my wife gave my daughter three duing her first year). Now, that was happy time. They just loved the water, and they giggled a lot. There's nuttin so happy as a little one's laughter.
Wish now I'd had a digital camera then, pictures are so much less expensive, and instant gratification.
