Like you I am fairly new to this forum, I have found there to be considerable knowledge and a group of friendly members willing to help.

Welcome to the forum.

Have a great woodworking day!

Cleaning my glasses will not make me look any better.
But will make what I am looking at better!

Welcome Wiz. I am so new here it is strange to be welcoming someone to the forum (I have only been a member a few days). Another old-timer on board makes me feel more at home (I just turned 66). I'll see you around the forum.

Does 60 get at least an honourable mention?
Not as seasoned as yourself or Wiz, but working on catching you both.

Have a great day!

I'm goggle-eyed as always. OK John, even though you are still a youngster and not eligible for Social Security, you sound like a great guy and you can be an honorary old geezer.

We are all like a good Scotch, we get better with age.

If we were a bottle of Johnnie Walker Scotch,

Lee would be the blue label,
Bill and Wiz would be the gold,
I am working on the black label,
Anyone else under 60 must be the red label. :)

You gentlemen have a great day and a better tomorrow!

Lee you have now given me another challenge in life, the 3/4 century mark, Go man Go!

I'm still goggle-eyed.
Hey Lee, SIR (My Mom taught me to be polite to my elders ).
OK, You win the oldest person on this forum (until someone older posts a reply to steal your title). Seriously, thanks to replying to our "old age" debate. Talk to you later.

Hey John,
Great reply to Lee . On a slightly different note, don't try too hard to age and catch up with us. The Aliens might get you.

Old Age

Hi gentlemen, Thanks for all the good stuff.
Age is a state of mind. Just make sure they're in the same state.
I still work 40 hrs a week in maintenance for a big motel chain.
I sold my camper and truck top manufacturing company.
If I knew how to post some pics of the campers I made I would post them.

Is there such a thing a good Scotch? I guess, like coffee, it's an aquired taste. Yech. I prefer water. Costs less, works just fine, and I don't hafta brush my teeth to cover up the odor before I kiss my Sweetie.

I'm only 55, but my, oh, my, am I grumpy. sometimes.

Don't drink water "fish urinate in it", good Scotch kills the germs. :)

I found "grumpy" came natural at the age of "wife and 5 children" but like good Scotch I became better with age. :)

I am now a proud card holding hounorary "Old geezer" and believe me this came from age.

Have a great weekend or what is left of it.
