Hello from NJ

Hello everyone.

I found this site today while looking for ways to finish my first ever wood project since highschool. The house I live in has hydronic baseboard fin-tubes and to my surprise they are of various sizes. I couldn't just walk into a home improvment store and buy covers and since they are commercial size, ordering them online or from plumbing houses was too pricey. So, I decided to make some out of Oak. I borrowed some tools from my Uncle (Hey Al, may I please borrow a router? Sure, here are 5 to choose from, take them all) and have at it. I designed it on Autocad and made some changes on the fly, but I'm very happy with the outcome so far.

Ive lived in this house for 13 years and have done lots of improvments by myself, but now its time for the entry hall, kitchen and these ugly fin-tubes.

The cover is not finished and is only stacked here so i could take a photo. I still need to join it all and finish it.

Thanks for looking.
