Hello from Minnesota

Just thought I would stop and say hello. I have been lurking around here for awhile now and figured it was a good time to join.

I have seen many great projects and pieces of furniture on here and hope to someday be able to do just a little of what you guys do.

As it stands, my workshop is still a work in process. I currently have a old Craftsman table saw that was given to me, as well as a Craftsman Radio Arm Saw. I have a few hand tools, (hand planers, chissels, and other such stuff) along with some power hand tools.

Im not to good at communicating via the internet or any form of text so my desire to communicate on the boards will be probally limited to short easy text.

Thanks
Gabe.

Welcome!

@gabeleon

Hey, Gabe! Welcome to the forum.

Your shop sounds just like mine. I still use an old Craftsman contractor saw and also have a 12" Craftsman radial arm saw. The contractor saw will be gone this fall when I take it to my uncle in Santa Fe. It has served me well over the years.

Glad to have you on board. That'll be $5, please! LOL!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

bluffcountry, hot is not the word for it. Down right oppressive is more like it. I should knock on wood though, we have had about four good days here but looking at more high temps rolling in for the weekend. I guess it's better then 20- below.

cgarritsen. What part of SW Minnesota? I'm up in the Milaca area myself.

Hello from Middle Georgia. Been a hobbyist for probably close to 40 years. One of those things I want to be real good at but could never afford the right tools or space. But I'm going to keep cranking out the sawdust
