Hello From Milwaukee

Have lurked here off and on for some time and thought I'd join the community. Hope to add value to the conversations and I'm looking forward to making some new acquaintances.

I would describe myself as a casual woodworker that has more plans than time to actually build. When time does permit I enjoy spending time with my kids teaching them the craft.

Welcome Allen. I could probably holler out my back door loud enough for you to hear me. Better hope that storm tomorrow doesn't track south or you'll be under a pile. We are on the line...They don't know whether we will get 6" or 14".

Thanks Roger. I'm actually hoping for a bit more snow. Would love to get out the cross country skis and hit some trails.

If you get the big one, cross country skis may be the preferred mode of transportation.

Thanks John. I'll do my best to keep it all here. Chicago's tough enough to drive even when the roads are clear. Although I have heard that the only seasons in Chicago are winter and construction season. So maybe you're due.

Allen, lately it seems all we have is one season: construction! I wish I roads were half as good as yours. But then again, I remember many years of traveling up 43 through downtown during the construction trying to get up to Door Co. What a nightmare that was! Especially puling a boat. I didn't think that project would ever end.

And Roger, you're just too kind!
