Hello from Jacksonville, FL

Hello. I am kind of new to word working. The last project I did was a crib for my son who is now 11 years old. before I had done about a dozen projects, ranging from picnic tables to bookshelves to a crib. I am getting ready for my next project and most ambitious.....a wine rack. A large commercial looking wine rack for a small wine cellar.

Something like below photo. Any suggestion on where to get good plans / measurements?

Thanks in advance

Jay

Is it because I said "Word working" instead of "woodworking"?

well, 5 years is a pretty long time between posts.
I can not speak for the non responses to your first post.
but, I do know that when there is a lot of traffic on the
forum, unused posts sink pretty quickly to the bottom.
if you had followed up with projects and photos of your work,
and actively participated in conversations,
I am pretty sure you would stay at the top of the heap.
welcome back !! what have you been doing for the past 5 years ??
please join in on the topics and conversations and post
some photos of your projects.

Thanks. Yeah, I had posted the photo, but photobucket has since changed and they have disappeared.

I did build the wine racks. They look amazing. I bought a rack and used it as a blueprint. I made changes and built out a nice little wine room.

The floor is all pennies. The walls are pine flooring.

Planning on doing a little teak project on the boat and hope to get some guidance when the time comes.

thanks for posting, Jay. (I took the liberty to fix your photos).
wow - that was a pretty impressive project !!
speaking of pennies; when I was in the Navy back in the 60s,
I made several trips to the UK and collected those big English Pennies.
when I got stabilized on shore duty, I had enough pennies to make
a 2'x4' coffee table with the pennies under glass.
in 1980, I sold all those pennies for copper scrap just to get rid of them.
your floor looks awesome !! hope to see more of your craftsmanship.
especially anything that involves your boat. (I am nautically inclined).

Hi Jay and welcome back. Nice looking wine rack mate. Also I like the use of the pennies for the floor.

I go overboard with every hobby I get involved in.......no exceptions!
