Hello from "Fabulous" Las Vegas

I am new to wood working, always been a tinkerer.

My tools atm are VERY basic (cheap).

I have :

Craftsman Portable Table Saw
1/4 sheet B&D Firestorm Sander
Delta Benchtop Drill Press
Craftsman Router (no table yet)
Skill Circular Saw
Skill Jigsaw
Skill Corded Drill
Shopvac
Campbell 10gal compressor

My shop is a 20x20 garage shared with tons of hunting and fishing equipment a upright freezer and a refridgerator. I will post pics when I have it somewhat resembling a shop, atm I have to take tools out to driveway to work.

So far I have built a Red Oak Birdstand for my boss, a reloading bench for my father, and a razor and brush stand for myself.

I have been lurking on the forum for weeks now. Decided to join today.

Thanks in advance for putting up with me :D

~Josh

P.S. If anyone knows any good resources for woodworking tools and supplies in Las Vegas please let me know.

Wellcome to the Forum...

This is the greatest site and bunch to be forund anywhere except for 1st and 2nd amendment issues. I know what you mean about the garage. I have one side of a two car. It gets crowded at timed. Set down at the blackjack table and play a couple hands for me..
I had a brainstorm the other day while talking to a neighbor about setting up a shop on a budget. Look on craigslist and find you a radial arm saw. There are dozens of them floating. I just remembered you don't have room for one. It's still a lot of saw for $100-$125.
