I work with cranes every day,and safety is always my first concern .I must of watched 50 videos on beginning work with lathes. The first thing I picked up was safety gear.jharris2 said:STOP!!!
What safety measures are you taking when using your lathe?
I don't consider myself a turner by any means but that workpiece is spinning pretty fast. Anything can happen.
Please do your research on lathe safety and buy the necessarily protective gear before you fire that lathe up again.
