Smile Hello everyone! - みなさん、こんにちは!

Hello everyone! I found out about this forum from the sister forum, http://www.diychatroom.com. I was googling japanese tables. I'm originally from Germany but my family moved to the states when I was very young. I am currently a college student, full-time worker, and part-time worker at a family restaurant. Last October I became engaged to my beautiful wife. She is from Japan and was attending university here in the states.

I recently had my room remodeled and wanted to start a project of my own in order to add a little bit of my own style to the scenery. I thought about purchasing a Japanese table here in the states but I wanted to create/design/build it myself. That's what lead me here! I will be thankful for all the help and advice everyone gives me~

I hope to talk to everyone and enjoy starting on this project! It will be my first so on to the basics!

Thank you!

Hi

Measure Twice Cut Once -- It's a lot easier to cut more off then it is to cut MORON.
Finishing is 3 parts chemistry and 1 part VooDoo http://lrgwood.com

Welcome to the forums!

John

Cleaning my glasses will not make me look any better.
But will make what I am looking at better!

Welcome to the site stefmax!
I'm assuming you have the necessary tools to accomplish your project, or at least access to them.
As with any new venture research all you can about it before you start. You have definitely come to the right place to learn.
I found a couple of articles on the subject as well.

Did you say tool sale?
