Hello Everyone

It's funny how bad times can respark old interest. I am a civil engineer that recently lost my job and moved back home to cut expenses until I find something else. Not much was going on on the job front and I needed to get out of the house so I decided to do a few odd and in projects at my uncles woodshop. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed woodworking and now I can not wait till I get settled somewhere new and slowly start buying tools to make a garage woodshop. I look forward to reading the forums and learning new things. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

Hey Volley, welcome! I "rediscovered" woodworking after I retired last August. It certainly helped me keep my sanity and kept me out from underfoot of my better half. It's a relaxing endeavor except when things don't line up because of that blasted warped ruler of mine! Looking forward to your input and Merry Christmas to you too.
