Hello Everybody

I have been checking out this site for over a week now and finally registered on it a few days ago. I haven't had much of a chance to introduce myself, working 12hr shifts with one day a week off, so I have had to peek in on some of the postings every now and then. I have seen some amazing pieces so far, on the turning pages. And look forward to seeing some more... maybe even make something to compare someday.
I myself have been handymaning it around the house for years, minor carpentry (bookshelves, coffee tables, small things), I did my own Tile flooring and back splashes, even figured out how to install my wifes Farm Sink( Not as hard as I thought ). But, A little over a year ago I bought a Rikon MiniLathe and it has been turning, turning, turning.
Thank You to firehawkmph for the pdf on the Peppermill it'll be about a week before I get to work with it but as soon as I get a few days off, after Turkeyday hopefully, I will be trying it out...
I have put on a few pics of the some of the stuff I've turned so far.
Looking forward to picking some of your brains on how to turn better and helping if I can.

Jonathan Cole

Welcome John,
Glad to hear you're working. Out of all the tools in my shop, the lathe is my favorite. There's something magical about it.

Thank You, for the welcome. Finally, some time off... Time to head to Woodcraft and gets some stuff to play with.
Hope everyone had a Great Thankgiving. Had to work yesterday, so we had our Turkeyday today.

Thank You

Jonathan
