Welcome from central Illinois Toby. I looked in your photos and saw your mill, pretty solid looking manual bandmill. The milling section has been a little quiet lately, don't be shy-we like milling pictures.

Proud to see you found us Toby. I haven't been to Canton since late 80's. Oh I been through highway wise, but not on First Monday since ~'88 or something. I bet I wouldn't recognize it. We used to go pretty regular. There was a brat and kraut stand there where we used to grub down.

I noticed some woodworking pictures in your gallery, do you have a spot there? My wife hasn't been there since she was knee-high to a jack rabbit we've been threatening to go for a couple years. Sort of looking forward to it and dreading it all at the same time if the parking is half as bad as I hear now. Might need to pack the unicycles.

Daren, thanks for the welcome, i will be posting more pictures soon.

Texas Timber, thanks I moved here in 87. I lived west of Ivanhoe about 2 miles, My family is still lives there. We try to stay away from trades day (to crowded), I sell my stuff to individuals because it usually brings a higher price.

We live west of Ivanhoe about 5 miles. Less as the crow flies. Between the lake and 1396 (Lamasco road). Don't know if there's any relation but Don drilled our well in 2001. Good man. Quite a few other Millers around too.

What are the odds of that?!

Let's see, I live less than 10 minutes from him, and you live 2 hours from him . . . . say hi to your dad for me next time you talk to him.
This internet thing did indeed shrink the world.
