Hello from Colorado
I've been busy with a science based forum for a year or so, then I joined a diesel forum, when I had problems with my truck. It just dawned on me that I should check out wood working forums, because I might be able to contribute more.
I started in remodeling, as a laborer and carpenter's helper. Then went into framing. Became a framing contractor. Then became really interested in timber framing. I built a shop, then built my house, on which I hand cut all the joints, then built my own insulated structural panels. I built all the windows out of scrap timber, which I milled down, the doors and the cabinets.
Turned the shop into a cabinet shop. Now most of my work is in custom cabinets. This all started about 18 years ago, from laborer to present, but I first ran a circular saw when I was five years old, and my grandfather let me use his wood shop while I grew up.
Thanks for reading.
