Hello from British Columbia, Canada

Hi there:

I'm a novice woodworker, woman. Self-taught. Been at it for about a year and half. Got to have the 2-car garage as my shop. I'm still trying to get organized. Made a few little things for the house, and starting a big bookcase project. I'm exploring the woodworking forums to find a place to hang my hat. Books and internet is how I'm learning, so it's great to have a place to ask questions. Husband has his own shop for auto-stuff-hobby.

I'm really trying to learn the craft and make some things I can be proud of. I'm a relentless question asker....hope that's okay. I study this stuff constantly but there are always some basic things that I don't understand.

I live in western Canada a few minutes walk to the ocean. My shop dog is an old French Bulldog who supervises from a camping cot by the heater. Hi everyone and Happy Halloween (belated).

Welcome SW, you are going to like it here. I have a friend who lives in BC on an island about 4 miles from Vancouver who is doing a complete build by himself, check him out he is on one of the sister sites to WWT

Anything is possible IF you don't know what you are talking about.
