Hello From Austin

Hello everyone....Just thought I would quickly say hi and introduce myself.
I've been reading some of the good posts mostly as an educational tool for me since working with wood is mostly new to me and I try to keep it to simple projects for now.

My name is Todd and I now live in Austin TX. My wife and I are proud parents of a new little girl, who is not so little anymore so that keeps me busy. I work at and co own an equipment rental store (mostly compact construction equipment). Other than those 2 things, I like watching Texas football, mountain biking when I have time and just spending time with my family.

Look forward to spending time learning a lot about woodworking and look forward to inheriting my father in laws tools one day.

Welcome to the house. Got a lot of good information here and some great people with good knowledge, and a few characters thrown in.

Like you a lot of this is new to me.

Welcome to the forum.

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

Wow you're like a duplicate of me. I live in Austin, enjoy mountain biking, woodworking, and have two girls of my own. I live along the BCGB so I'll do some woodworking, hit the trails and then come back and do some more woodworking. That was pretty much my Saturday and Sunday last weekend.

So far just the one girl for me. I can only get to tinkering with any wood projects when time allows now which is tough. Right now it's simple things if you can call any project simple. LOL

Tell me about it....LOL...She is already quite the handful and between work and watching her there isn't much time to do anything else. But she means more than anything and we are having a ball.
