Thumbs up Hello All, Happy New Year

Well, new to this sight, I am very much a novice and looking forward to learning alot from people who have been at it a while or folks who simply have something new to share. I am currently playing with a new toy I got for Christmas, The Dremel, and all it's fun little attachments. If any one of you have unique ideas on doing projects with this toy, let me know. My current project is making an "Arrow of Light" for a boy who is crossing over into the Boy Scouts. I have basically started by going into a rustic style and formed the arrowhead with the belt sander and my Dremel, along with that I created the fletching with the same tools, it looks real. Now the next part is creating the plaque and the 7 beams of light. I look forward to finishing the project, I will post the pic following completion of the project.

Welcome to the site.
I also built two arrow of light awards for two boys. I would post pics but they are in paper form.
I built two plaques of the arrow of light of yp. Then bought two premade arrows and wrapped bands on the arrows with colored thread to represent the Webelos awards that they had earned. Then attached feathers with leather strips. Came out great and the boys loved them.

Did you say tool sale?
