Hello All

Myself, I am applying what I've learned over the years to wood working. Specifically, something called Bessler's Wheel.
While perpetual motion is considered impossible, trying to convince someone that your half deaf in one ear and not brain damaged seems to be a bigger stretch.
But then, I do have a very mechanical background and am well read on physics. And many people in history from henry Ford, to the Wright bros. did a lot of wood working.
Heck, even Bill Boeing built furniture during lean times to keep the doors of the Boeing Airplane Co. open at one time.
And if all works out, I'll have an interesting hobby while having the opportunity to pursue other projects.
I have watched numerous wood working shows and have spent some time getting familiar with what works for me.

James

Welcome!

Fill your heart with compassion, seek the jewel in every soul, share a word of kindness, and remember; the people's what it's about.

Welcome!
Nothing like having a goal to start with-- and good luck with it-- will be looking for pics. Everybody here likes pics.

Everyday--learning to liberate nice things from ordinary chunks of wood
and I like gnarly wood--outcome is always better than the start.

Thanks

Thanks Ray and Cuerodoc.
I was kind of worried about posting to many pics of my build process.
Am just thinking of the day when I can build one while being more than a novice wood worker
