Wink Hello from Alabama

Hello world.

I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself.

I live in Birmingham AL and am just starting to pickup woodworking again. My dad and I did some light work while I was growing up and I have just started getting back into it. I still have a lot to learn but I am excited about the process. My wife already has a long list of projects.

Thanks in advance for the help from everyone and I apologize if I ask stupid questions.

Welcome Alabama from Illinois. Glad to have you here. As Einstein postulated in his lesser known law of relativity, the "to do" list of a wife grows in relation to your increase in skills.

If you surprise the wife with something you make once in a while she will encourage you to do more = buying more tools and feeding your ego.At least thats the way it goes here.Itchy

***For the record*** Ive made hundreds of guitar bodies, never put one together and cant play a note.

Welcome to the forum. Let's hope that you like it here and that we can help you accomplish some of those jobs for the Mrs.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"
