Thumbs down hello and advice

hello all, hope all is well. I have a massive interest in woodwork. I have been working in construction for over 10 years. Worked installing kitchens and bathrooms and also joinery tasks.

Recently i went on a job shuttering to find out that my qualification is a dud!! been told by the governing body that my training provider has sent me the wrong certificate. Now i cant work on site!!

Not sure what to do as i have no van and no work?? thought about making woodwork items at home but not sure?

any help and advice would be great.

Junior

basically the site where i was working refused me to work the following day due to my health and safety cert not being logged on a database.

i could not return to site until i had made sure the h&s was logged on my file.

i contacted my training provider an luckily they had a copy of my qualification on file, so i got them to send me a copy asap. The cert i had was just the back page.

Anyways all is good and i can now go back to the site on monday, get the employer to ring the h&s people and my file should be updated.

been in construction for over 10 years and never had so much mucking about in my life!! this country is getting too over protective!!
