Good morning anyone who reads this!

Was looking for an answer on "the google" and came across this site!

I used to love wood shop in high school, but graduated in 1998. Always built furniture, and it is all still in use today by my wife and I.
Wife found out she's pregnant two months ago, and wants me to build the furniture and more. I figured I can't go wrong with an excuse like that to spend money on tools!
Set up a little shop in the basement, bought myself planer, jointer, table saw, band saw, scroll saw, belt sander, drill press, lathe, miter saw, and all the fun little sanders and plate jointer (biscuits).

Been playing around with making a few pens, and my first ever inlay of my company logo (Slades Mechanical Services), and I am ready to start in on the furniture!

Looking forward to refreshing myself in the wood arts, and starting in on a new forum!

If you do not have the time to do it right......when you will find the time to do it over.

Welcome! Several guys here have built their own baby furniture, I recently built a dresser/changing table and have to build a bed soon too for my month old son.

Sounds like you have all your basic tool needs covered, that's good! Welcome to the (I think) most well rounded group of wood workers on the planet.
