Hello

My name is Doug and currently I live in Anchorage Alaska. I served 6 years in the Air Force and my wife is currently serving until July. We will be moving back to Indiana this Summer, back to my bigger garage/shop. I have been turning bowls recently on my new lathe and build basic furniture pieces. Hope to learn and better my skills here.

Thanks to you and your wife for your service!

Howdy Doug, I'm new to the group and have used your info as a template. I'm in Western Australia and just retired from 40 years of business administration. I'm married and have given myself a project of a "blackbutt natural edge table". Got the timber 700x45x3700 so will be asking for help from the group.
Cheers Stewball

Hello my name Is Leon
I don't remember if I introduced myself back in Aug. of last year when I joined the forum but anyway I'm from Raleigh, NC and I'm a Carpenter/Woodworker that's been in the Building industry since 1980 and feel I've forgot more than I've learned most of the time. I know by looking at the forum that there are a lot of very talented woodworker's here and sometimes I feel I'm out of my league. So please If in the future If I say or mention anything that anyone might take offence to, forgive my because I mean no harm.

I feel I've been out of circulation for awhile, that's why there hasn't been any posts from me. I'm back now and hope I can contribute in some way to the forum. Thanks for having me here.

You will always learn by doing, so I've learned.
Only trying to help ~Leon~
