hello

I have been one of the lurkers who have been reading a lot here before I ever joined

My name is Mark and I live in NW Arkansas - I really enjoy the beauty of wood and the satisfaction you get from creating with it - I have been playing with sawdust for a number of years, nothing professional just for my own satisfaction and pleasure - had a fairly decent shop setup at one time but it all somehow disapeared about 10 years back following my divorce and now I am finally trying to put things back together for a small garage workshop

I have to say that I am very pleased to have found this forum and have been learning a lot - I know I will never come close to equaling the skill of many here but I bet that I have as much fun in screwing up a perfectly fine piece of a tree as much as anyone!

Looking forward to learning a lot more

Mark

Welcome from Missouri!

Mac

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17

Welcome Mark! I have been in that neck of the woods before. Siloam Springs comes to mind.

Mark, thanks for sharing. I am only a novice, but I try really hard to make something worth showing off. I've been to NW Arkansas; Siloam Springs to be exact. I went to the John Brown University to do some work on equipment. I liked the campus and enjoyed walking through the yards and such.

Keep up the good work.
