Wink Hello...

Hello woodworking world. Am a newbie to the site and looking forward to learning a lot here. I am retired from the airline industry and used to build shipping boxes for aircraft parts mainly from CDX plywood. So I'm familiar with most of the tools/equipment I see mentioned here but I'm not so schooled in the finer things of woodworking. I've built all the boxes I ever want to build.

Welcome Joe. Enjoy the site.

Hey Joek, I have built high end furniture. Even there, we say we are just building "boxes"! It is true with most cabinetry and even furniture. Some are obviously more elaborate "boxes", but the concepts are the same. Now if you are venturing out into other things, then maybe you are in the "other than a box" realm. Can we hear what you have in mind?
