I am a relatively new memeber to the woodworking community. I think it is an incredible skill and want to become more proficient. I live in CT and am from PA originally. I have lived a little bit of everywhere- I was in the AF for 4.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service to our Country. Sit back, read up and enjoy. Oh, and get the tools going and let's see some sawdust.

I loved PA. My parents are still there so I get back home occasionally. The fishing can be outstanding. I am very partial to the north central/east part of the state.
I can already see there is a lot of experience on this board. I have three boys and want to be able to pass on some of the skills that they might be able to use to make life a little more enjoyable.

Welcome from West Michigan.
I've driven through PA & it looks quite beautiful, especially the eastern half, with the trees & hills etc. Never been to CT. My father itroduced me to woodworking when I was young & now he has passed on his tools to me also. ( try to get the wife involved too, then you can buy tools for 'her' too..... )
Enjoy the forum, there is a lot of talent & knowledge here.
