Greetings and salutations from the SF Bay Area

The name is Chris, 24 years old, and I hail from San Jose, CA. My grandfather has been doing woodworking as a hobby, and for DIY house repair, his whole life, and with him getting on in his years and I lacking a satisfying hobby, I figured it'd be prudent to take advantage of the time we have left. I've always had a fleeting interest in the craft, but only in the last year have I gotten serious about it, after my first project, which was restoring an end table that had seen much of the great outdoors, underneath an over watered potted plant. Good times were had with that, to be sure.

welcome to the forum

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

Welcome. San Jose is a nice place. I lived there in 1964-1966. Right next to Milpitas.

Never too young to start learning, especially from a knowledgeable family member.

Welcome from Texas! Take in every minute you can with family, and enjoy them while they are here...

Interested in my woodworking, workshop and whatnot? See, want to see my other interests such as hunting, fishing, off roading, and camping? See
