Greetings from the front range of Colorado

I have been perusing the forums and looked through the gallery.
Many talented craftsman here.

I grew up third hand to a man that could build anything. I learned by watching
it being done. Worked all kinds of construction until I got tired of concrete work
and went back to school. Education in computer electronics. Part time retired
from 35 yrs doing IT support. I have a basement shop and shop bench in the
garage. Running a Laguna 14Twelve band saw, vintage (1949) Craftsman 12" table saw(my Dads)
that I learned on, 1954 "greenie" ShopSmith, Delta 40-694 scroll saw, general assortment of hand/power tools.

Already picked up some ideas from the gallery.
My current passion is band saw boxes.
I look for stuff in the "flawed" pieces of wood.
The gnarled, grizzled, knotty....throw it in the fire wood.
Amazing what you find.
Looking for some constructive opinions on some of the work I am doing.
Some pics of current projects.

Nice work on those boxes - I like them! Especially the guitar shape but all are nice.

Beautifully done!

Wish I could find scraps in the flawed pile like that!

Thanks! I have started eyeing every piece of wood I get my hands on
as to what might be hiding in it.
Case in point:
I found these boxes...

in this piece of spalted maple.
