Greetings from Baghdad, Iraq!

Howdy to you all! I'm a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army currently on the final stretch of a long 15 month deployment to sunny Baghdad, Iraq. Just here looking for some general info and advice, I haven't been actively into woodworking for a few years now, but am looking to get set back up when I get home and start building furniture again!

STAR from OZ.

As others have said. Keep your head down and your eyes alert. watch your AR#E and have eyes in the back of your head.

Those skills you are learning will serve you well in corporate America.
You gotta love the Good O'l Uncle Sam, they really do prepare you well for the Corporate jungle on Wall Street.

Before he went over they told him how bad of a Charlie Foxtrot it was but he says it's nothin like that.

Thanks for goin. Canada is too cold anyway, eh?

Thank You all for all the support from back home. It's good to know that everyone back home supports the soldiers over here even if they disagree with the war. Thank you all again,

Welcome to the site Sarge, and thanks to you and all your troopers for keeping us free. Keep your head down and don't believe everything you hear on American media; they have their own agenda, and it doesn't necessarily line up with our national objectives, or popular opinion for that matter.

Anyway, you'll have all the help you can stand setting up a shop when you get back. Godspeed!

Roy
