well... My name is Ryan but folks call me Duff or Dufner. I recently separated from the Coast Guard after 4 years active Duty on Lake Michigan. I have been married for 4 1/2 years to my high school sweet heart. We met in kindergarten. not sure why they call em sweethearts. Mine can be mean as a badger. I have always like making thing with my hands and over the past few years I have slowly acquired some tools and have started wood working. I have yet to dive into the finer side of things. I am more interested in primitives. I love learning new techniques and styles. this site has been great so far.

Hahahaha, the things we pick up while in the military. When I saw the title of this thread I thought "PLEASE let it be in the Introductions section!" Alas it was, and I'm happy to welcome you to our (dysfunctional) family. There are a lot of great people around here to learn tons from.
