Federal Period rules"

Hello from a hilltop in the Va mnts.Semi retired multi generational builder here. Our family building roots traced way back.Suffice it to say its in the blood.

We live in an 1820 Federal period repro I built almost 30 years ago.Spent way too much time in historic preservation work....to the effect that it has completely warped any sensitivity I have WRT to fine woodworking/architecture.

Lovely 3k sq ft shop with ALL the bells N whistles.Have a complete machine shop as well.Lots of welding equip.;Really enjoy the peace and quiet of our TIG bench. There's lots of windows on shop looking at the mnts.

Am somewhat digitally challenged,in posting pics and stuff.Alot of our biz over the years surrounds around hand drawn original artwork. We do conceptual art backed up with extensive,in depth knowlege. So its a little "more better" than whats avail. through normal channels.Rarely a project goes through shop without some kind of drawing. It may or not be ruled/scaled.

Very nice site.BW

Welcome. Sounds like you really got it going on. But as you will discover sooner or later, on this forum if you don't have pictures, it's all just words.

Most of us go so far as to consider the member guilty of embellishment in all respects, until proven otherwise. So you ought to bone up on your digital skills if you want to be taken seriously.

I'm being a little TIC - but only a little.
