Experienced arborist/ novice woodworker

A little bit about myself. I have very little experience with woodworking but am eager to learn. I am an ISA Certified Arborist working out of the northern black hills of south dakota currently. I have been climbing trees in MN, NV, and SD over the past few years. I am looking to make woodworking a hobby to pass my time during the winter off season up here. I am particularly interested in live edge woodworking. Like I said this will be primarily a hobby, but with time I will be looking to make some money from it. I assure you I will be pestering you all often as I try to teach myself the Ins and outs of your trade!

Welcome! You are now on the 'slippery slope' of buying every wood related tool on the planet. Sometimes those hobbies turn into a lifetime of wood worship. Being a Certified Arborist should make everything easy.

Harrison, at your service!
